I could not wait till you returned; but I request six or
Eight of your Sober People to take these articles & devide
them amongst your Nation. be kind to Each other &
lend these Tools one to another.

Now Brothers,
If your friends the Quakers find your do
not use these tools & try to be good Farmers. They will
be discouraged from helping you any more.
Therefore I wish you to encourage one another
to be good Husbands; that you may have plenty of
Bread & Meet in your Houses all the year round
is what I wish.

after feelling myself satisfied, Set my face Homeward
toward Oneida got back too Foltons Inn, where I fou-
