To the Committee of the Yearly Meeting on Indian affairs

Our Friend Henry Simmons Jun.
having for some time had a concern on his mind
to go and reside for a while with the Indians, in order
to instruct and assist them in Farming, which
he laid before our last Monthly Meeting and
this Meeting again taking the Subject into con-
sideration after solidly deliberating thereon acquiesse
there with and recommend him to you as a sober
young Man in good repute amongst us & a diligent
attender of our Religious Meetings.
