Notes: Joseph Dobson Shotwell was the son of Henry and Sarah Dobson Shotwell of Rahway, NJ. He married Elizabeth FitzRaldolph in 1804 at Rahway. Member of PYM Indian Committee as of 1792, accompanied Sarah Emlen to New York in 1795. Died in 1856 at the age of 75.
