To some near connections Dear Chil-
dren, we that have been brought up in the
plentiful enjoyment of this worlds pro-
duce, and many other advantages, have
abundant cause to be thankful. Oh how
I have felt for many poor children that
I have seen since I left home; particularly
thro’ the course of our journey, but we
must leave them to Providence who is
the great superintendent of the Universe.
We have mostly since being here enjoy'd
good health, and live comfortably tho’
much retired.-- have not got much engag'd
in instructing the Indians; it will require
