has been so favorable as to
induce the Committee to believe they ought to be
encouraged by affording them assistance in the
cultivation of the earth, and otherwise promote
their welfare, especially in endeavoring to strengthen them in the good resolutions they had formed
some years since of abstaining from strong liquors;
and with this view the Committee have concluded
to furnish them with some Oxen & farming utensils.

The Committee being informed that Thomas
McCall

has returned from Oneida & does not
expect to return, Joseph Field and Abraham

are appointed to settle with him, call
on the Treasurer for the amount & report to the
next sitting of the Committee.
