Antient Giants perhaps Hercules him-
-self may be pretty well Identified
in his Person & War club he has
but one hand & yet they say there
is not one Indian in the Country
that the Indians fear so much as
they do this man -- the five Medals
& White Loon are here. the little Turtle has
the Gout or Rheumatism & is hardly
expected here the prospect is avery
dull one as we are informed that the
Turtle & five medals are our ene-
-mies & will oppose us. The two Chiefs
at the Wabash, the White Loon for the
Masseseneway Indians , & Charley for the
Eel River Indians, I believe are
both Friendly & if it was not for the
undue influence that some bad Cha-
racters have over them & the love of
Whiskey they might in time be brought
into some degree of Civilization
