gh to turn off. We know of
no opportunity at present of getting
a Cow, but hope we shall avail our-
selves of one by some means in
the course of this Summer.

We think we have 8 or 9 acres
of our Wilderness bottom clear’d
have got about 4 acres of Corn
planted, 5 bushels of oats sow’d
and 8 Bul of Potatoes planted
this Spring; have also Plowed
a number of small Lotts for the
Indians near ys, and divers
of the Men have assisted in
the labour of the Field. One
Indian has fenced in a farm
