New Stockbridg 10 mo 22th 1799

Dear Sister,
I will inform you that I ever have
been glad in that you have taken good care of my
poor Daughter, because I am persuaded in my mind
to believe this kindness is from the great Spirit,
who alone can put such compassionate feeling
on your hearts towards us the Natives. Therefore I
have been feel easy and entirely willing that you should
be Judges when my Daughter should return, and
am fully believe that She live much better there than
what She can do here.

Intender love I bid you
