New Stockbridg 9mo 9th 1797 Dear Friend, and Brother Enoch Walker,

This is to inform thee, that by the goodness
of the great Good Spirit, I enjoy a good health
but my Wife is unhealthy ever since last spring, and
I have lost one of my Dear Children, since thee been
here, and Blessed be the name of the Lord, who con-
ducteth all things in his infinite wisdom and mercy
who also promised to his humble followers, that all
things shall work together for their real good.

We had some expectation to see thee here, but
friend Jacob Taylor, informed me, that thee has
Married Since thee left this place, I think that
must necessarily confine thee at Home, and wish
thy happiness, for the wise man says, when a
man findeth a Wife he fineth a good thing.

Friend, here is great satisfaction given to
the people, they wish that friends should con-
tinue for some time, and their is number
