two men were seated on a Deer Skin
just at the foot of the Image, who
had each of them a Water Tortle
Shell, with Corn, or Shot, within,
which they beat on the Skin, as mu-
sick to the dancers, who also made
changable noises by way fo song,
at which the dancers paid great
attention, as the sound of their mu
sick, and the tone of their song
chang’d, so did their dancing,
twisting their arms, Heads, bodies,
yelling & shouting, change also --
which would be very astonishing
to those who had never beheld
