Friends have talked of assisting the Oneidas

to exchange
for lands laying further back from their settlement those
people are often inquiring of us about it wishing to
know if Friends have or can arange it any
way for their Benifet, it seems they will be very
much disoppointed unless this exchange can be made
we have understood the Land was to be disposed of this
winter

for Brothertown to supply them with Bread
so that it is hoped they will not suffer much
in Consequence of the general scarceity
