continued.

The Committee taking into consideration the
accommodation of Absalom Hatfield

& his family who
have lately gone to reside amongst the Oneida Tribe
conclude that the Treasurer be authorized to pay to
John Murray, Robert Bowne, Matthew Franklin
& Saml. Parsons, a sum not exceeding Four hundred
Dollars; of which seventy Dollars are to be applied to
the purpose of compensating for his improvements
the person who occupies the house built by Friends
of Pennsylvania & the remainder to the purchase
of Oxen, a horse, necessary farming utensils, seed &
for the use of Absm. Hatfield, & the assistance & instruct
ion of the Indians & the Committee are desired to
give early attention thereto.

The Treasurer is directed to pay to Absalom Hatfield


the sum of seventy Dollars in advance of the
compensation agreed on with him for his services
