7th. And if any man shall do
a public service he shall
be entitled to a Reward.

8th. If anyone, whether a mem-
ber of this Union or not, should
brake either of the Articles of
this agreement, and persisting
to do contrary, or making direct
Opposition against it, as to excite
others to transgress with him,
he shall be under penalty
of the Law.
