did much mischief, in the
Time of the American War;
they burnt the Country for
about 40 Miles up and down
the River, and many of the
Inhabitants lost their Lives,
amongst which was the parents,
and other Connections of our
Present Landlady, which has
tended to embitter her
Mind against the Natives
