Notes: Benjamin Griffen lived near Amawalk meeting house in 1825. Griffen was the son of Joseph and Jane Griffen, and married Mary Carpenter at Amawalk in 1808. He and Mary moved to Nine Partners in 1841 and he died in 1842 at the age of 61.
