We would have
been glad to have reach’d a friend’s meet-
ing to day, but found it imprac-
ticable, therefore thought best of
travelling, tho’ not without some
unpleasant feelings, being in a
Presbyterian country. Early
this morning we pass’d thro’ two
considerable red cedar groves, on rocky
poor land; then through pretty
good land, & thickly settled, though
very much broken with limestone
