scene, we return’d up the steep
bank with difficulty, & in 4 miles
arrived at Jeremiah Moore’s,
where we were kindly reciev’d.
In about an hour after we got
there, a friend from the short
Hills, came in particularly
requesting that Jeremiah Moore
& John Hill, would come up to
their assistance, a difficulty
having taken place respecting
a meeting house they were build-
ing so that the work was stopp’d.
The friend was much concern’d
about it, as was Jeremiah, when he
heard the information, & they
express’d a great desire we would
go with them, hopeing that our
assistance to accommodate matters
