kindly reciev’d & felt thankful we were
once more among our friends
In the afternoon we paid a
visit to Joel Moreses, who were
much pleas’d on seeing us, & in
the evening went to my old home
when here last fall, & kind friend
Asa Schooly & wife who were truly
glad to see us, & we them, here
we got a clean good bed, which
was what we had not experienced
since we left Pittsburg, having for
near four weeks slept on the ground
& on the boards, in our blankets.
