Seventh day morning we left our pilot
and his hackney at Buffolo, and crossed
the Niagara river into Canada, which was
one of the most trying scenes, particularly
to one of us, that we have met with since
we left home, but we where preserved
so as to land safe, and soon after arrived
at the house of one of our friends, where
we were gladly received, and soon got
refreshed with clean Linnen & c. of
which we stood in much need. In
this country we spent about five days ,
rode about 100 miles, and visited 16 fami-
lies; and returned to this place yester-
