There deplorable condition
by reason of that destructive
article of Strong drink, great-
ly augmented our concern and
exercise for the promotion of
their present and future happi-
ness insomuch, that we were
desirous of having them Collected
in Council, and a day being
agreed upon, for that purpose
I informed my Companions
thereof, where we all atten-
ded, and was (l think I may say)
divinely
