Second Month 3rd.This mor-
ning being the first day of the week.

When in Cornplanter's house, his
Son Henry and about a dozen of his peo-
ple being present, several of them petty
Chiefs; Who wanted me to tell them
how the World and things therein
were Created at first.

I immediately applied my heart
with fervent breathings to the Lord
for His aid and support; in this
Question; and found him a present
help.

I told them it was a hard Questi-
on; I understood it better than I
was able to explain it to them.
