After this Council we proceeded
on towards Conandarque

; and
after riding along side of the
lake about 7 1/2 miles we
crossed in a good sail Boat;
and having a lively Breeze
we had a short and pleasant
passage, being about 20 mi-
nutes, in going a mile and
a half; we dined at the ferry

up a News paper, printed
a few Days since at Whites;

within about 18 or 20 miles
of Oneida Castle Town; in which
