Country; and many of those
who live here, having nothing
to eat, were gone a hunting
and fishing with their Wives
and families; The few who
were now here were very un-
willing to hold a Council with-
out having their Tribe all to-
gether; which, it appeared, could
not be effected without a great
Detension to us; we therefore
proposed, that if they would
give us an Opportunity to ex-
press our Minds to them
in Council, and give us such
