and notwithstanding we have
met with various Instances,
in each of these Tribes, of un-
feigned Regard and Affection,
yet it appeared now Seasonable
to shew some marks of the
Discouragements naturally
consiquent on the present
seeming Ingratitude; and
to hint to them our Sensibility
of such Treatment; which, it
is hoped, will have some effect
upon their minds: We
then agreed to meet them tomor-
