Notes: Charles Shoemaker was born at Abington in 1762, the son of John and Elizabeth. He married Elizabeth Paul in 1785. Shoemaker briefly transferred his membership to Fairfax Monthly Meeting in 1790, but was a member of Philadelphia from Abington in 1794. He died in 1837 at the age of 75.
