11 Mo 1st Sixth day of the week
left my kind friends, and travil-
ed on through New Molborough,
New Borough, and thro’
New Winsor, all of which are small
Villages, situate near the margin
of the North, or Hudson River,
from thence to a friends house
/viz/ David Conklins, where I was
kindly treated by his affectionate
Wife, he not being at home,
it being 18 miles from Halluck
& about five from New Winsor,
after which I rode about 12 miles
further & lodged at a Tavern
in a small Village called Ches-
ter
