it had appeared much more exercising
to me that Day than it had hitherto.
I endeavoured to assert to him
the Evil thereoff, and that it was
certainly the Devils works; and
they who did so, were serving of him,
and told him, I thought, every Man
had a right to be Master of his own
House, and before I would suffer
such things in mine, I would burn
it to ashes & live in a cave, and
did hope I might never see any more
of it amongst them; further told
him, what made it more painful
to me was, they Collected the ino-
cent Children and were bringing
them up in their footsteps, in
doing that which was so very
wicked
